Tapes & Labels Ltd (formerly LMT Ltd) has been selling self-adhesive
tapes since circa 1966 and importing and printing since 1980. Today
it is regarded as an important and leading company within the industry,
having established long and successful relationships with major
manufacturers abroad. It can count upon numerous 'blue chip' companies
within its vast customer base.
The Company remains family controlled and actively follows a policy
of investment and diversification within its printed tape and label
divisions.
Within
its printing division, Prima Tapes are
able to offer the complete service from highly sophisticated computer-aided
artwork and graphics origination, photographic processing and platemaking
through to the finished product.
We can print up to 3 colours on PVC or polypropylene tape and up
to 6 colours for computerised or non-computerised labels in various
formats e.g. roll form, sheet form, sprocketed fan-folded, plastic
or paper.

Seven
Siat 3 colour machines are employed printing tape in both polypropylene
and PVC, with solvent, acrylic and hot melt adhesives all available.
Two
6 colour Flexo Mark Andy Presses, one based on UV inks, the other
water-based, alongside a 3 colour 830 Mark Andy make up the label
capability, backed by a full range of slitters/rewinders and ancillary
equipment. It
also possesses an Arvor 1497 poly bag machine offering poly bags
in all grades and sizes.
Prima
Tapes operates
from a 35,000 sq. ft. unit in Orpington employing some 30 staff,
many of whom have been with the Company for over 10 years.
